Manchester City are a step closer to this season's Premier League title following their 5-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday night.
Pep Guardiola has Kevin de Bruyne to thank as the Belgian international produced a scintillating performance in the encounter to score four goals.
Three points on the night mean City are now within a touching distance from the prestigious Premier League title.
It was practically De Bruyne's night as the Belgian opened the scoring as early as the 7th minute as he found the back of the net with a left-footed finish to make it 1-0.
Three minutes later, the hosts equalised after Raul Jimenez broke free down the left and played in Neto - who waited for the run of Leander Dendoncker. Having been gifted a wonderful pass, Dendoncker slotted it home from 12 yards. 1-1.
City restored their lead in the 15th minute as De Bruyne flicked the ball over the top of the Wolves defence and into the path of Raheem Sterling in the box.
Jose Sa blocked the shot but De Bruyne was quick to react and slot home the loose ball. 1-2.
De Bruyne completed his hat-trick in the 24th minute after he picked up a loose ball on the right-hand side of the pitch and darted straight through towards goal.
He then curled a wonderful left-footed shot into the bottom left corner of the goal from the edge of the box.
And on the hour mark, it was the midfielder again as he was involved in the start and finish of this sequence, Daily Mail reports.

Haaland to become Man City's highest earner
Meanwhile, Sports Brief earlier reported that Erling Haaland could be living a luxury lifestyle just weeks after penning a deal to join English Premier League champions, Manchester City.
The Norwegian forward has agreed to a deal in principle to join Pep Guardiola’s team ahead of next season and is expected to earn at least £500,000 per week as his salary.
Haaland will automatically become the highest-paid player in the Premier League and can easily afford a private island to call his own in Honduras if the need arises.
