- His bitter-sweet assessment of Madrid's supposed reality might not sit well with most fans of the European giants
One-time France and FC Barcelona striker Thierry Henry has made a remark which will stir up the anger of most Real Madrid faithfuls.
According to the Arsenal legend, clubs in Europe fear Real Madrid while the Madrid giants are also wary of their archenemy FC Barcelona.
Henry made his comments ahead of the Champions League finals between Liverpool and Real Madrid, who staged an epic comeback to beat Manchester City for a spot in this year's grand finale.
The Los Blancos had to stage fightbacks against Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and most recently Man City to underline their supremacy in Europe's elite competition.
Despite Madrid's dominance in Europe and in the La Liga this season, Henry contends that Barcelona, who have endured a torrid campaign, still have a number on Real Madrid and his comments were evidenced in the last time both sides clashed with Barca thrashing Madrid 4-0.
"All European clubs fear Real Madrid and Madrid fear Barcelona," Henry was speaking on CBS Sports as quoted by Marca.
Henry faced Madrid on six occasions during his stint with Barca, where he played between 2007 and 2010.

“But I think Liverpool will win the Champions League. They’re stronger than Madrid.”
