Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho has stated that Premier League club Chelsea have lost their excellence and stability in the wake of the takeover by Todd Boehly.
Former club owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned by British authorities which consequently forced the Russian oligarch to sell the London club.
On the pitch of play, the Blues have struggled in recent times, although they look assured of a Champions League spot for the coming season.
Thomas Tuchel’s side remain third on the Premier League standings and are five points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham with three games to go.
However, Chelsea have won just one of their last five matches including losses to Arsenal and Everton and there are concerns about the state of the club, Mirror reports.
Former manager of the club Jose Mourinho has admitted that the club are finding life tough at the moment.
He told Sky Sports:
"It's a difficult moment and you can even feel it at the football level because they have lost that level of excellence and stability. But this is at the moment, you know.
"If you ask me do I have someone I would like to take over my Chelsea? Then yes I have, but I close my mouth. I just know the club has reached such a level that it doesn't matter who it's with, Chelsea will always be Chelsea. Chelsea will always be."
