Highly-rated Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has returned to training in a bid to make a strong finish to the French Ligue 1 season.
The 20-year-old Stade Rennais forward's return is a huge boost for Ghana as the Black Stars begin preparations ahead of next month's 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifies.
In photos posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, the skilful player is seen going through drills as Stade Rennais prepare for their game against French Cup winners FC Nantes on Wednesday.
Kamaldeen Sulemana will miss the game against FC Nantes as confirmed by manager Bruno Genesio, but the winger is expected to be ready for Olympique Marseille on Saturday.
“Alfred Gomis is back. Kamaldeen Sulemana and Loïc Badé will be absent in Nantes but I have high hopes that they can apply against Marseille. Nayef Aguerd will be suspended," revealed Genesio as quoted by the official website of Stade Rennais.
The Ghana international picked up a back injury after the Africa Cup of Nations and has not featured for the club since February.
Sulemana has scored four goals in 20 games in the French Ligue one and he is considered one of the best dribblers in the league this season.
