Arsenal recorded an important victory over 10-man Leeds United on matchday 35 in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
A brace from England-born striker of Ghanaian descent Eddie Nketiah ensured the Gunners increased their winning run to four matches on the bounce.
A break-neck speed start for the north London club led to Nketiah pouncing on a goalkeeping howler to give Arsenal the lead after just five minutes.
Arsenal made it two to the good when Brazilian youngster Gabriel Martinelli danced through the defence of Leeds before setting up Eddie Nketiah to notch his brace of the afternoon.
Leeds' situation turned from bad to worse when Luke Ayling's wayward tackle landed him in trouble as the 30-year-old defender was given his marching orders by referee Chris Kavanagh.
After the red card incident, Leeds United was more organized and disciplined at the back to go into halftime two-nil down and Arsenal cruising to victory.
