- Rice was extremely upset with referee Jesus Gil Manzano, and accused him of corruption after the game in a furious tunnel bust-up
West ham midfielder Declan Rice was caught on camera accusing referee Jesus Gil Manzano of “being paid” in a shocking clip after the Europa League clash against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday, May 5.
The Premier League outfit were defeated 1-0 in Germany as they bowed out of rhe Europa League 3-1 on aggregate against their German counterparts.
In the second leg, West Ham will feel like they could have done much better had they not been reduced to 10 men.
Defender Aaron Cresswell was sent off after only 19 minutes as he was adjudged to have maliciously fouled Jens Petter Hauge when the attacker was through on goal.
West Ham manager David Moyes also had a bad night with the referee, as he was sent to the stands for an angry reaction.
In total, Manzano brandished nine yellow cards and the ill-tempered game threatened to boil over at full time, when hundreds of Eintracht Frankfurt fans invaded the stadium.
“It’s so poor”
In the video that has gone viral on Tiktok, Rice can be seen confronting the referee in the tunnel after the game, and the England midfielder pours his heart out in brutal fashion.
"Ref it's so poor, all night it's so bad! Rice can be heard saying in the clip.
"How can you be that bad? Honestly, probably been paid. Corruption."
It was quite a shocking video as many have come to associate 23-year old Declan Rice with a calm demeanour.
Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt will face off with Scottish side Rangers in the final.

Minutes after Cresswell’s exit, Frankfurt extended their lead after Rafael Borre powered low past Alphonse Areola. West Ham ramped up the pressure to reduce the deficit, but nothing was forthcoming.
Moyes addressed the issue during his post-match press conference.
“I have to apologise for kicking the ball but the ball boy left it short and it was nicely on the volley for me,” the gaffer said.
