Romelu Lukaku has turned down offers from two clubs as his Chelsea future gets dimmer day by day. Lukaku has had an underwhelming return to the Premier League and could seek a way out in the upcoming transfer window.
Newcastle United and AC Mian are understood to be some of the top clubs that are ready to offer Lukaku a way out of Chelsea. The Belgian hasn’t hit the levels that were expected of him after returning to Chelsea at the start of the season.
Thomas Tuchel expected him to be a ready source of goals upfront. Lukaku was coming in from a very brilliant season with Inter Milan, where he led them to the Serie A title. He has, however, managed to score only five Premier League goals so far.
He was recently an unused substitute in Chelsea's loss to Everton. Tuchel preferred to bring on Cristian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech instead as the Blues looked for an equaliser.
He was also on the receiving end of some backlash after he did an unauthorized interview lamenting how Tuchel’s tactics didn’t suit him. He has struggled to get back to the first-team squad regularly with Kai Havertz filling up the striker role.
Metro UK now understands that Newcastle and AC Milan have already inquired about the possibility of getting the 28-year-old to their clubs. Both clubs are expected to spend heavily this summer after getting new owners.

FootballLukaku however is holding on for ‘better’ options as he seeks to end his Chelsea misery. His huge wages of 300,000 euros per week might also be a stumbling block in negotiations.
Massive Chelsea exodus expected
The former Manchester United striker might not be the only player poised to leave Chelsea. The Blues are set to lose a couple of key defenders on free transfers at the end of the season. Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen won’t be renewing their contracts at the club.
Sports Brief earlier reported that Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso are ready to quit the club to join Barcelona. The two have one year left on their contracts.
Chelsea are still in the tricky position where they can’t extend players contracts, buy or sell any players as the sanctions placed on club owner Roman Abramovich continue to hit hard.
