Real Madrid trainer Carlo Ancelotti could not help but join the merrymaking as he guided Real Madrid to a historic 35th La Liga crown on Saturday.

Despite making a raft of changes to his usual starting lineup, Ancelotti's charges managed to beat Espanyol 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu to annex the Spanish top-flight crown.

A first-half brace from Brazilian youngster Rodrygo and solitary strikes from Asensio and talisman Benzema was more than enough to set the party rolling.

Ancelotti's latest feat with Madrid means the veteran coach has inked his name in gold as the first and only manager to have won the league titles in Europe's five major leagues - England, France, Italy, Germany and now Spain.

In a post on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Ancelotti is seen on the bus together with his players dancing to music and to the cheer of thousands of Madrid fans who have thronged the streets to celebrate the team.

The Italian trainer will now switch focus to the UEFA Champions League semifinal clash with Manchester City on Wednesday.

He would hope the league win will spur them on in what promises to be an epic clash at the Santiago Bernabeu.
