Jurgen Klopp is enjoying a roller-coaster season with Liverpool and just on Thursday, April 26, the Reds announced they had agreed to a contract extension with the German manager.
The 54-year-old’s contract was initially set to expire at the end of 2024 but decided to pen a two-year extension with the Reds that will see him stay at Anfield until 2026.
According to a report via Marca, the Liverpool manager has now revealed his wife, Ulla Sandrock convinced him to sign a new contract extension.
"I'll stay for another two years, and not only me. All my coaches will as well, which is the most important actually.
"Why? Because Ulla wants to stay and, as a good husband, what are you doing when your wife wants to stay? You are staying."
Jurgen Klopp and Ulla Sandrock got married in Germany in December 2005 and the 47-year-old novelist attends most of Liverpool’s matches to cheer her husband.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Jurgen Klopp has officially signed a new deal to stay a Liverpool beyond his previous contract.
The German tactician’s previous deal was set to expire in 2024, and he initially planned to take a sabbatical once that contract came to an end.
But in a drastic turn of events, Klopp seems to be keen on staying at Anfield, with the club announcing on Thursday, April 28 that a new deal had already been signed.
