However, through his Twitter handle, the 54-year old dismissed the stunning reports, saying:

“Current health status for the ones wondering: p***** off second time in 4 months they kill me. Seem also able to resuscitate.”

A tweet from the same account in January took to deny claims that he had undergone emergency surgery, instead clarifying that Raiola had simply undergone medical checks requiring anaesthesia.

Raiola is reportedly suffering from a lung condition linked to COVID-19, according to the Independent.

In terms of his profession, Raiola is one of the most powerful football agents and has clients including Erling Braut Haaland, Paul Pogba, Matthijs de Ligt and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Interestingly, a number of players on his books have been linked with sensational exits from their respective clubs.

Paul Pogba is set to walk away from Manchester United for free at the end of the season, while Erling Haaland will possibly move from Borussia Dortmund, if a club is able to activate his release clause.
