Cristiano Ronaldo has further validated his Greatest of all Time status after netting his 100th international goal in Portugal's 2-0 win over Sweden in their UEFA Nations League clash.

The 35-year-old Juventus superstar became the second player in history to net a century of goals for his country after Iranian legend Ali Daei who has 109 goals credited to him.

Malaysia's Mokhtar Dahari ranks third on the chart with 85 goals while India's Sunil Chhetri is next and the 36-year-old already recorded 72 international goals, two ahead of Lionel Messi.

The Old Lady attacker reached the milestone in style after firing an unstoppable freekick into the top corner of the post to give his side the lead just before the half-time whistle.

He then completed his brace in the 72nd minute with another stunning strike as his side cruised to a 2-0 win after the meeting.
