Arsenal have reportedly joined their Premier League rivals Manchester United in summer race to sign Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen with the Gunners said to be in pole position.

According to the report in the UK Sun, those in charge of Premier League side Arsenal feel Victor Osimhen can be a perfect replacement for Aubameyang who has joined Barcelona.

The 23-year-old has been in good form for Napoli this season, scoring 12 goals in 22 league appearances so far this season.

His goals and contributions have not gone unnoticed as Napoli fans have now voted him their player of the month.

Napoli started last month with a 1-0 loss to leaders AC Milan, but they bounced back with a 2-1 win over Lazio with Osimhen scoring a brace in the game.

Osimhen also scored a brace in Napoli's next game as they secured a 2-1 victory over Udinese.
