Pitso Mosimane has achieved much success with Al Ahly since joining the side in 2020, but not everyone seems to think so.
The South African coach has faced his fair share of detractors during his stint at the Egyptian giants.
Former Al Ahly legend, Wael Gomaa, is the latest to share his thoughts on Pitso, believing that Al Ahly can do better without the Mosimane in charge.
As reported by Soccer Laduma, Gomaa urged the club to replace Mosimane once the Champions League campaign was over. Gomaa was speaking after Al Ahly’s draw with Raja Casablanca in the CAF Champions League, a draw which saw them qualify for the semi-finals.

"Mosimane's management of the game was poor. Pitso just thought about qualifying, but Al Ahly could have played better football,” he added.
Gomaa also believed that Mosimane took a chance in the game, which could have backfired, and he was lucky that the team won.
