FootballChelsea vs West Ham: The Blues Seek Redemption in Another London Derby
- Chelsea are scheduled to host West Ham United at Stamford Bridge in another London derby on Sunday, April 24
- The two teams are looking to end the season on a high, with the Blues all but certain to seal a top-four finish
- Both sets of managers have injury concerns ahead of the clash, with the Hammers in line to miss the services of at least three key defenders
Chelsea will be plotting a return to winning ways when they host rivals, West Ham United, in another London derby on Sunday, April 24.
The clash comes just days after the Blues suffered a 4-2 humiliating defeat at the hands of Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal, fresh from a poor run of form, beat all odds to sink Chelsea in west London in a big win that boosted their top-four chances.
Match preview
The Blues' clash with West Ham comes at a time they are facing increasing pressure in their push to finish third on the Premier League standings.
Thomas Tuchel's men are currently placed third on the log with 62 points, just two ahead of fourth-placed Arsenal.
Only four points separate them and fifth-placed Tottenham, with West Ham in seventh place with 52 points.
While Chelsea's top-four spot seem all but secured, they will be desperate to earn a favourable result over the Hammers ahead of next month's FA Cup final with Liverpool.
West Ham, meanwhile, have their eyes fixated on securing European football after an epic campaign in this season's Europa League.
Team news
Chelsea will be without the trio of Mateo Kovacic, Ben Chilwell and Callum Hudson-Odoi this weekend, while Antonio Rudiger is also unavailable due to a groin problem.
In the West Ham camp, Issa Diop and Kurt Zouma all look to join centre-back Angelo Ogbonna on the sidelines.
The trio's absence will hand Moyes a huge headache when it comes to picking a back two during their Stamford Bridge trip.
