Fred has become one of the first Manchester United players to react to the news of the appointment of Erik ten Hag as the club's next manager.
Ten Hag was officially named United's boss on Thursday, April 21, with the Ajax manager set to take charge formally at the end of the season.
The 52-year-old will be taking over from Ralf Rangnick who has been managing the side in an interim capacity since last December after the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.
Ten Hag is understood to have been handed a three-year deal at Old Trafford, with his arrival coming at a time United are struggling for results.

Red Devils midfielder, Fred, has now welcomed the appointment of Ten Hag, with the Brazilian describing the tactician as "a world-class manager."
The former Shakhtar Donestk star exuded confidence the new manager will help United end their trophy drought, adding that he hopes that can happen as early as next year.
“It’s great news. He’s a world-class coach who will help us a lot here," Fred said as quoted by TalkSport.
“I’ve watched Ajax and they are a great team who play good football. We know he helps us a lot and hopefully next year we can win trophies," he added.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Erik ten Hag has pledged to lead Manchester United back to their glory days following his confirmation as the club's new manager.
The Ajax manager is set to officially take charge at Old Trafford at the end of the season, with interim boss Ralf Rangnick taking up a consultancy role.
Ten Hag's switch to Man United comes at a time the Premier League club are in tatters, with the side in danger of missing out on a Champions League spot.
