Chelsea Star Reveals He Wants to Dump the Blues This Summer

Chelsea star Emerson Palmieri has opened up about his future at Stamford Bridge ahead of the summer transfer window.

Palmieri is currently on loan with French giants, Lyon, who he joined last summer for the rest of the 2021/22 season.

Emerson Palmieri hints at making Lyon stay permanent

But with just a few weeks left before he can return to his parent club, the 27-year-old has suggested he could join Lyon permanently.

Speaking on his future with the Blues, the left-back hinted that he is happy in south France, adding that his future will become clearer in the coming days.

"Of course, yes, I have no problem saying that I can stay at Lyon," FootMercato quoted the left-back saying.
"It's a pleasure to be here. There are different factors. It's not just up to me. There are six matches left to play and after that, I will have an answer for you all," he added.

Emerson Palmieri finds footing at Lyon

After finding game time hard to come by at Stamford Bridge, Palmieri has managed to establish himself as a key squad member for Lyon.

the defender has already made 32 appearances for the French club this term - scoring one goal and setting up two assists.

The Peter Bosz-tutored side are said to have an option to make the Italian's stay at the club permanent.

Tuchel blames pitch for Chelsea defeat

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Thomas Tuchel has opened up about his side's 4-2 humiliating defeat in the hands of rivals, Arsenal, on Wednesday night, April 20.

The Chelsea boss bizarrely laid the blame on the Stamford Bridge pitch for his side's defeat.

According to the German tactician, his players found it "very, very difficult" to play on their own turf.
