FootballMohammed Salah forced to clarify comments after being accused of disrespecting Manchester United
- Salah said on Tuesday that “they” made it easy after Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Manchester United

- But Salah clarified his comments, saying he meant his side’s midfield and defence made the game easy
Liverpool ace Mohammed salah has taken to social media to clarify some controversial comments he made at the back of the win against Manchester United.
The Egyptian was the star of the show as he scored twice and registered an assist as the Reds cruised to a 4-0 victory.
After the game, Salah raised some eyebrows after he seemed to suggest that the game was a bit too easy for Liverpool.
"In midfield, they make our life easier, we have a clean sheet here and there. Once we get the first goal, we want the second and the third. It was a top performance by us and hopefully, we continue." Salah said after the game.
Many Reds perceived the comments as a subtle jibe at Manchester United, prompting Salah to break down what he meant by saying “they made it easy”.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, April 20, Salah said:
"I meant our midfield, and our defence, make it easy for us. I was not talking about the Manchester United players whom I respect."
Liverpool hammer Man United, how it happened

Sadio Mane took the game away from Ralf Rangnick’s side in the second half, before Salah completed his brace late on to sum up what has been another miserable season for Manchester United.
Despite edging closer to winning the golden boot, Salah emphasized on the importance of all three points for his side.
