"Of course it is a possibility. I’m open to both, playing for Ghana and playing for England as well. It’s always good to have the opportunity to potentially do that," he said.

Eddie Nketiah has made 19 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal this season, netting five goals in the EFL Cup.

Nketiah's future at Arsenal is in limbo as he struggles to break into the first team with offers flooding in from other clubs.

"There has been offers of a new contract but my aim is to play football and to play regularly, that’s my ambition and that’s what I hope to do," he added.

England-born Callum Hudson-Odoi gives signal of Ghana interest

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi has sparked rumours of Ghana switch after he was spotted jamming to legendary Ghanaian musician, Daddy Lumba's song.

The English-born winger has not played for the Three Lions in over a year now, and will be cleared to play for Ghana in November, right in time for the World Cup in Qatar.

In a video shared on social media by celebrity barber Nikky Okyere, he confirmed the London-born will be in the Ghana squad for the World Cup.
