FootballRalf Rangnick Reveals What Man Utd Must Do to Finish in Top Four Ahead of Arsenal and Tottenham
- Ralf Rangnick admits that the only way Manchester United can finish in top-four is to win all their remaining Premier League games
- The Red Devils are chasing a Champions League spot for next season, with Arsenal and Tottenham also in the race
- Manchester United take on Liverpool in their next game and Rangnick is optimistic his side can pick up all three points at Anfield
Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick has stated that the Red Devils will need to win their last six Premier League matches if they hope to finish in a top-four position this season.
United and rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are in the heated race for the fourth position on the standings in order to play in next season’s Champions League.
Rangnick has taken time to urge his boys to be more aggressive when they approach their final six matches of the season, as they take on title-chasing Liverpool up next.
The tactician is optimistic that his side can go for victory at Anfield on Tuesday night in their bid to improve their chances of a top-four finish.
Liverpool are on the chase for a historic quadruple as Jurgen Klopp’s side won their first leg 5-0 back in October at the Old Trafford.
Rangnick admits that the only way to battle Arsenal and Tottenham for fourth place is to win their next matches in the English topflight. He said as per Daily Mail:
They face the Gunners and Chelsea in the next two games after Liverpool.
“It's up to us. We definitely will travel there tomorrow and try and get three points, this is what it's all about. It's about our situation.
“After the results we are still in the race for fourth, but to stay in it we have to win almost every game.
“You can see other teams are dropping points at the weekend. It's again about being consistent and at the end the team will probably finish fourth that is most committed to that.”

FootballRangnick cautions Man Utd over dependence on Ronaldo
Meanwhile, Sports Brief earlier reported that Ralf Rangnick has urged Manchester United to stop relying on Cristiano Ronaldo's heroics to kill off matches.
Ronaldo was once again the man of the moment for United on Saturday, April 16, as he staged a masterclass against Norwich to inspire his side to a vital win at Old Trafford.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner netted a sensational hat-trick during the clash to earn United the three points.
