Bruno Fernandes has named Brazilian legend Ronaldinho as the player he admired most as a child growing up.
The 27-year old midfielder recently signed a contract extension to stay at Old Trafford, much to the delight of Manchester United fans.
In his initial deal when he joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon, Fernandes signed a five and a half year contract with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
But on Friday, April 1, it was revealed on the Manchester United website that the talented playmaker had signed an improved deal that is set to run until June 2026.

Moments after his new deal was confirmed, Fernandes took to Twitter to make it public, as he called on his fans to ask him questions as a way to celebrate the new contract.
“4 more years as a Red,” he said.
“To celebrate with you, I want to hear your questions.”
Of course, fans did not hold back with their questions, some of which Fernandes was all too wlling to answer.
Among the questions he was asked was the player he looked up to when he was young.
“My first idol, probably like every kid at that time, was Ronaldinho, a pure watch to joy,” was his reply.
Ronaldinho, now 42, is considered by many as one of the best players in the history of football, despite his short-lived spell on the spotlight.
The Brazilian awed fans in the 2000s with his skills and natural prowess on the ball, which helped him win the Ballon d’or in 2005.

Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes’ immediate objective will be to help his side have a strong finish to the season, after what has been a disappointing campaign so far.
United’s next game is a crunch Premier League outing against Leicester City on Saturday, April 2.
