Ghana's Black Stars have climbed up in the latest FIFA Coca Cola rankings released on Thursday, March 31, 2022 following their World Cup qualification.
The West African giants moved one place up, from the 61st to the 60th position, after their success over the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The Black Stars sit 11th on the African rankings behind the likes of Senegal, Morocco, Nigeria, Egypt and Mali.
Ghana moved up by 5.91 points, accumulating a total 1387.36 points ahead of the FIFA World Cup draw on Friday in Qatar.
The Black Stars fell in the February rankings after a disastrous Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, where they failed to win a single game.
However, the four times African champions made amends by qualifying for the World Cup after beating Nigeria via the away goal rule.
The Black Stars will find out their opponents for the World Cup in Qatar on Friday, April 1, 2022.

Ghana's flag has finally been hoisted in Qatar ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup in the Asian country later this year.
In a short ceremony in Doha, Dr Emmanuel Enos, Ghana's Ambassador to Qatar raised the flag of Ghana aloft, indicating the West African country's qualification.
In a video posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, members from the Ghanaian community sang the national anthem as the flag was being raised.
