Morocco made light work of their World Cup play-off opponent DR Congo to seal a spot at Qatar 2022, joining Ghana and Senegal as representatives from the continent.

A strong display by the Atlas Lions saw them score two goals at either side of half time to stroll past DR Congo 4-1 at the Mohammed V stadium.

The North Africans qualified 5-2 on aggregate after the two-legged game.

The Moroccans got off to a bright start and after just 21 minutes, Azzedine Ounahi broke the deadlock before Tarik Toussadali added the second right at the stroke of half time.

It was all Morrocco after the break as Ounahi added his second of the game in the 57th minute.

Paris Saint Germain defender Achraf Hakimi made it 4-0 with twenty minutes left, and there was no way back for DR Congo.

However, Ben Molango scored a consolation in the 77th minute but the task was too huge for them to put up a fight back.
