Arsenal offers Marcus Rashford Old Trafford escape route

Metro UK reports the 24-year-old has already been linked with a number of clubs, with Arsenal the latest team to reportedly express interest in a deal.

The Gunners' interest in Rashford comes at a time Mikel Arteta is keen to bolster his attack, especially after the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Further, the duo of Alexander Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are yet to renew their contracts, with their deals set to expire in the summer.

Danny Murphy urges Arsenal to push for Rashford deal

Murphy has now urged Arsenal to make a move for Rashford should they get that opportunity.

According to the former Liverpool midfielder, the Man United star would add the required spark and quality upfront.

"If I was Arsenal, I’d love to get Marcus Rashford through the door because he’d add quality to their front line, definitely," Murphy said.
"If they (Arsenal) have got a chance, go and get him," he added.

Man United star on verge of leaving Old Trafford

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Edinson Cavani has been tipped to depart Old Trafford at the end of the season when his deal with Man United expires.

The veteran striker has endured a frustrating spell with the Red Devils this season, with injuries taking a huge toll on his form.

The 35-year-old is believed to be closing in on a move to Real Sociedad where he could link up with Anthony Martial who is currently on loan with Sevilla.
