Norwich City have fans have something to celebrate in what has been another disastrous season in the top-flight of English football.
The Canaries were crowned as the 2021//22 ePremier League champions at the EA Sports FIFA 22 tournament. Damien 'Damie' Augustyniak and Jack 'GoalPoacher_' Wignall defeated Brentford's duo of Sam 'SamBrwster' Brewster and Peace 'czohino' Chirwa 5-1 on aggregate in the Grand Final.
Damie, a semi-finalist in the first ePremier League in 2018/19, produced a controlled performance to win the Xbox leg 3-1. GoalPoacher then clinched a 2-0 win on PlayStation to secure the trophy for Norwich.

FootballThe winning pair also snagged the £30,000 first prize, divided into £15,000 per player, with Brentford's players each taking home £7,500. Damie, Goalpoacher_ and SamBrwster also booked their seast EA SPORTS FIFA 22 Global Series European Playoffs.
The victory is an ironic one as the real-life Canaries are destined to be relegated from the Premier League once again. They currently reside at the foot of the table with only 17 points from 29 matches, having lost their last five matches in a row.
Eden Hazard’s current plight was eerily predicted by his former manager Jose Mourinho, who made some interesting sentiments in 2015 which now seem to be coming true.
As reported by Sports Brief, Hazard’s time as a Real Madrid player has been hampered by constant injuries, and more recently, the Belgian picked up his 16th injury.
He is set to undergo surgery on his right leg to remove a plate, and will consequently miss Real Madrid’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Chelsea.
