Manchester United youngster Tahith Chong was robbed at knifepoint as armed men entered his home in Manchester.

The 22-year-old, who is currently on loan at Championship side Birmingham City, has become the latest footballer to be attacked by criminals in the past few weeks.

According to reports by the Sun, three baklava-clad robbers invaded his home at 3 AM when the 22-year-old was asleep and went on to rob him.

The robbers held knives against the throat of Chong and reportedly demanded for valuable items including watches and jewelry.

They also took away thousands of pounds worth of items and the incident has left Chong shaken up.

The Manchester Police have warned the Man United winger that his social media activity might’ve been monitored by the gang before they carried out the robbery.

Chong becomes the fifth Manchester-based to be the victim of a robbery, with Joao Cancelo, Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba and Victor Lindelof also experiencing scary break-ins in recent months.

The Dutchman is currently on loan at Birmingham City and is expected to return to Old Trafford in the summer.
