Football fans in Ghana have demonstrated their love and passion for the Black Stars as the World Cup play-offs against Nigeria looms.

The Ghana Football Association have been on a drive to rally support for the Black Stars and it appears their sermon has been well received by all and sundry with less than 24 hours left for the epic clash.

In a video posted on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, exuberant fans of the national team were seen gleefully demonstrating their passion through chants and rhythmic dance moves at the last training session of the Black Stars.

The supporters, known as the 12th man in football circles, are expected to create an intimidating atmosphere for Nigeria while boosting the morale of the Black Stars to upstage their Nigerian counterparts.

Ghana will hope to ride on the passion and high spirits of the fans to secure a positive result to render the reverse tie at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium a mere academic exercise.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the crunch clash between Ghana and arch-rivals Nigeria will witness the use of the Video Assistant Referee as Africa continues to incorporate the technology in the sport gradually.

This will be the first time the system has been installed in Ghana as the Baba Yara Sports Stadium is being prepared to host the two rivals in the all-important World Cup final eliminator.

Ghana will first host the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, March 25 for the first leg before heading to the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja for the reverse tie on Tuesday, March 29.
