FootballSenegalese Star Once Left £200,000 Lamborghini, at West Ham Training Ground After Quitting Club
- Diafra Sakho was an ardent lover of the Lamborghini when he was a West Ham player
- The 32-year old Senegal international once reportedly left his Lamborghini at West Ham’s training ground after securing a move away from the club
- The £200,000 yellow supercar was spotted at the club’s training ground long after Sakho had transferred to French club Rennes
Former West Ham star Diafra Sakho reportedly left his swanky £200,000 Lamborghini at the club’s training ground when he departed the club in 2018.
Sakho spent four years at West Ham before making the switch to French side Rennes back in 2018, after slowly falling out of favour at the club.
According to a report by The Sun, the Senegalese left his very expensive Lambo at West Ham’s Rush Green training ground.
A source told Daily Mail back in 2018, "He'd just bought it and left it there.
"The sheer waste of it, sitting there for everyone who walked past to see."
It is unclear for how long the Lamborghini stayed at West Ham’s training ground but it was not the first time Sakho showed complete disregard for costly supercars.
In 2016, when the Senegalese was a hotshot in the Premier League, he crashed a different Lamborghini in Hornchurch, Essex.
The decline of Sakho
When he joined West Ham in 2014, Sakho hit the ground running in the Premier League, scoring 12 goals in his debut season in England including 10 in the league.
Things however went left for him in the next two seasons, as a spectacular dip in form saw him manage only eight more Premier League goals in two and a half seasons.
He did not start a single game in the first half of the 2017/2018 campaign and was eventually sold to Rennes.
Things did not get better for the striker at the French club as injuries continued to plague him and his performances.

FootballRennes got rid of him after a year, with Buraspor in Turkey securing his signature on loan.
Sakho then made a switch to Swiss side Neuchâtel Xamax FCS before eventually settling back in Africa with AS Arta, based in Djibouti.
