Senegal will play their first game since being crowned African champions when they square up against Egypt in the World Cup play-off on Friday.
The Teranga Lions arrived in Cairo on Thursday night after two days of preparations in Marrakech, Morocco.
In photos posted on Twitter, the team led by Sadio Mané is seen leaving the Cairo International Airport.
Senegal were at the World Cup in Russia four years ago and will hope to qualify for Qatar 2022.
However, Egypt will provide the African champions with stern competition, as witnessed in the final of AFCON a month ago.
Senegal has been to the World Cup twice, while Egypt has been to the global showpiece three times. A win in the two-legged encounter will see one of the teams qualify for Qatar 2022.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that 2021 AFCON winners Senegal have enplaned to Cairo ahead of the first instalment of the two-legged World Cup play-offs against Egypt.
The Teranga Lions will be hoping to reach the Mundial for the third time in their history after previous appearances in the 2002 and 2018 editions.
Senegal will have to accomplish this difficult mission at the expense of seven-time African champions, Egypt, over a two-legged tie with the first instalment slated for March 25, while the reverse tie has been scheduled four days later.
