The Super Eagles will lodge at the three-star Noda Hotel in Kumasi after their crucial World Cup play-offs against Ghana was moved from the Cape Coast stadium in Accra.
The Black Stars are set to host Nigeria on Friday, March 25 at the Baba Yara Stadium, following CAF's decision to move the game from the Cape Coast stadium due to its poor pitch.
According to Complete Sports, Aisha Falode, a member of the Nigerian Football Federation believes that where the Super Eagles lodge is not of importance as compared to the game to the Nigerian players.
“The Kumasi venue was a last-minute decision after the Cape Coast Stadium was not approved by CAF to host the game.
“It’s not the kind of hotel the Eagles are used to, but it’s also a hotel you can’t say isn’t befitting of the Eagles. The hotel won’t be as important as the pitch where they’ll play.”
The hotel provides free Wi-Fi, features an outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre, an on-site restaurant with free continental breakfast, a bar/lounge, and free private parking.
The Noda Hotel is just 9 kilometers from the Baba Yara Stadium, the venue of the first leg encounter between Ghana and Nigeria.
