Super Eagles Star Responds To Nigerian Actress' Message Who Wants Ronaldo To Qualify For UCL Ahead Of His Club
- Victor Osimhen has responded to Uche Jombo's comments about rooting for Cristiano Ronaldo to play in the Champions League
- Napoli are just a point above Juventus on the Serie A table with one game left to conclude the current season
- Atalanta and AC Milan are other teams in contention to finish in the top four place in the Italian topflight division
The win took the Naples based side to fourth place ahead of Juventus whose chances of making to the elite competition is hanging in the balance.
Despite recording a 3-2 victory over winners Inter Milan at the Allianz Stadium, none of the three other teams including Atalanta, Napoli dropped points except AC Milan who were held to a 0-0 draw against Cagliari.
The current development has become a huge concern for Nollywood actress Uche Jombo who wants to see Ronaldo in next season's Champions League at all cost.
The 41-year-old went as far as tweeting on social media that she hopes the Portuguese icon will play in the tournament next campaign because of the glamour he brings into the competition.
Jombo said on her Twitter handle:
"I want CR7 playing UCL next season.
"Love him or hate him.... There's something he brings."
However, Jombo's comments struck Super Eagles striker Osimhen, whose side are also in the running for a slot in next season's competition.
The 22-year-old responded to Jombo's comment like a child who also needs commendation for his good deeds in class.
"No wahala aunty Uche.
"Me sef wan play UCL o."
Napoli will be at home to Verona in their last game while Juventus will travel to Bologna hoping other teams standing in their would at least drop a point in their respective last final match of the season.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Victor Osimhen's profile is currently on the rise as he is gradually returning to goalscoring form for Napoli since he returned from injury.
The 22-year-old was recently spotted in a photo on his Twitter handle with an expensive ice-gold chain wrapped around his neck.
The Nigerian international still showed the love he has for his late parents as used a photo of them as pendants dangling at the end of the chain.
