Ghana and RC Strasbourg defender Alexander Djiku has earned a spot in the French Ligue 1 Team of the Week.

Djiku, 28, has been nothing but excellent for Le Racing barely putting a foot wrong since returning from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Ghanaian guardsman produced a spirited display and capped it with a jaw-dropping bicycle kick goal as Strasbourg continued their chase for European places in a slim win over Monaco.
