Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was captured in a heated discussion with Crystal Palace goalkeeper Vincente Guaita after his side dropped two points at Selhurst Park on Monday night, Mirror reports.
The reigning Premier League kings played a goalless draw away from home despite dominating the encounter from start to finish.
Man City had 18 shots, with Guaita saving four of them as he played a key role in his side’s clean sheet to put the pressure on the league leaders.
After the final whistle, Guardiola expressed disappointment at the result as his side are now just four points behind Liverpool who are with one game in hand.
And as the team shook hands, Guardiola was captured the moment he emphatically gestured towards his fellow Spaniard, although the topic of their conversation was not audible.
The manager however explained that he was pleased with his side’s performance on the night. He told BBC Sport:
"We play a really good game. In 90 minutes we concede mistakes a little bit, but the way we played was really good.
"Luck doesn't exist in football. We have to score goals and we didn't do it. We played to score goals and concede few. We struggled a little bit.
"The guys who were playing were playing good, that's why I didn't make changes. We didn't score, that was the mistake.
"The team that was there today was there before and will be there in the next game. I am very pleased with the performance and the way we played."
