Former Real Madrid captain Marcelo Vieira is set to launch his own barbershop in his hometown in Brazil.

The 33-year-old will be looking into becoming a full-time barber when his contract with Real Madrid expires at the end of the season.

The Brazilian defender revealed his new career path on Instagram that he will personally work as a hairdresser there at times until he leaves the Los Blancos in June.

Marcelo took to the photo-sharing app to announce to his over 52 millions followers of his intentions to open his own barbershop and start hairdressing.

Marcelo is a professional barber

Marcelo is well known to be a professional hairdresser in Real Madrid's locker room.

He showcased his hairdressing skills on his team-mate Casemiro following the Los Blancos' Champions League final victory over Juventus in Cardiff in 2017.

Casemiro, who netted Real Madrid's second goal in their 4-1 triumph over the Old Ladies, allowed his compatriot the freedom to work his magic in the dressing room.
