Nigerian star Kelechi Iheanacho has continued to rack up recognitions and awards after an impressive 2020-21 season.
The 24-year-old Super Eagles forward helped Leicester City clinch the Europa League spot after narrowly missing out on the Champions League qualification on the last day of the league.
He scored 12 goals and two assists after 25 English topflight appearances for the Foxes in the recently concluded season.
And he has now been rated the second player with the highest goalscoring ratio after Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale.
According to stats presented by The Sun on Twitter, the former Manchester City star played 1456 minutes all through the season and found the back of the net 12 times in the process. This however means that he scored 0.74 goals after 90 minutes.
Meanwhile, Spurs attacker Bale topped the chart with 1.07 goals per match after seeing action for 923 minutes for the North Londoners in the outgone campaign.
Liverpool's Diogo Jota comes very close to Iheanacho on the chart after being rated third with 0.73 goals after 90 minutes. The Portuguese played 1113 minutes and scored nine goals in the end.
Edinson Cavani and Joe Willock complete the top five after finishing with 0.66 and 0.59 goals respectively.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Kelechi Iheanacho has been awarded with Leicester City's Goal of the Season following his strike against Crystal Palace.
The Nigerian international helped his side come from a goal down to beat the Eagles at the King Power stadium back in April.
The 24-year-old unleashed a left-foot shot from an acute angle inside Palace's 18-yard as Vicente Guaita could not do anything about the strike.
