Kelechi Iheanacho has been receiving lots of plaudits after a brilliant display against Stade Rennes in the Europa Conference League on Thursday, March 10.
The Super Eagles forward bagged his 5th goal of the season as Leicester City cruised to a comfortable 2-0 against their French opponents.
According to a report via Complete Sports, former Liverpool striker, Emile Heskey has now labeled Kelechi Iheanacho as the best striker in the present Leicester City team.
“Kasper Schmeichel says Iheanacho is the best finisher at the club and that is fantastic. The finish was not easy at all. It’s great for him to score, especially with Jamie Vardy being out,”
The 25-year-old was subbed into the encounter in the 70th minute but wasted no time to convert Leicester's second goal after a sublime finish.
Iheanacho's goal was his first in Europe for Leicester City who were without injured striker, Jamie Vardy.
