  • Kelechi Iheanacho seems to have ‘look-alike’ somewhere in Port Harcourt as Richman Brown claims he has a striking resemblance with the star
  • According to Richman, there is so much pressure on him on a daily basis as he 'shares' a likeness with the Leicester City star
  • Iheanacho has been called up for the World Cup play-offs against Ghana and he is expected to lead the attack

A Nigerian man based in Port Harcourt, Richman Brown, has narrated how he faces so much pressure due to his resemblance with Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho.

The oblong-faced Nigerian who has beards just like the Leicester City star claims his striking resemblance continues to put him under pressure daily.

Iheanacho remains a ‘character’ when it comes to the national team and he has been spotted leading praise and worship songs within the Super Eagles camp.

“I have had so much pressure on the streets on daily basis about our resemblance.”

Iheanacho’s goal vs Egypt ranked

Meanwhile, Kelechi Iheanacho’s goal against the Pharaohs of Egypt has been ranked as one of the best goals of the tournament by football followers.

According to Goal, just 100 goals were scored in 52 games at the finals, an average of 1.92 goals per game, significantly lower than every year’s mean since 2004.

Iheanacho’s strike was however included in the top five goals of the tournament despite Nigeria’s early exit from the competition hosted by Cameroon.

After controlling the ball from a headed Joe Aribo pass, the Leicester City striker struck the ball into the top right corner of Mohamed El Shenawy’s goal with minimal backlift to hand Nigeria a 1-0 win.

Meanwhile, Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi also made the list of top five goals at the just concluded AFCON as a free-kick against Malawi was considered a joy to watch.

Ndidi to stay longer at Leicester City

Sports Brief earlier reported that Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has disclosed that he could remain at Premier League club Leicester City for some time as his family members are also in the city.

The 25-year-old who has been impressive in the middle of the pack for the Foxes has attracted interest from quite a number of top teams across Europe.

He hinted that he could remain at the King Power Stadium beyond this season despite that big teams across the continent are jostling for his signature.
