Frank Lampard says some things needed to be spoken about outrightly after Everton were mercilessly beaten by Tottenham 5-0 on Monday, March 7.
Two goals from Harry Kane and a goal each from Son Heung-min, Sergio Reguilon, and an own goal from Micheal Keane condemned Frank Lampard's biggest defeat as Everton manager.
According to the Mirror, Lampard blamed the reaction of his players for not being good enough after conceding against Spurs.
"The reaction was not good enough. It was the reaction of a team used to losing away from home. We need to sort it out.
"The psychological side is one. Football is about being resilient. The only way to turn that around is to work hard. Then it’ll turn. It doesn't come from magic, it comes from work."
Everton is presently placed in the 17th position on the league table with 22 points from 25 points but remains just one point above the relegation zone.

Former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher says Everton stands a good chance of getting relegated after the Toffees were beaten 5-0 by Tottenham.
According to Sky Sports, Carragher has labeled the Toffees as weak and soft both physically and mentally which is not a known quality for the Merseyside team.
Everton has had a poor home record in the league this season and Carragher believes that could count against them in the race to avoid relegation.
