Afena-Gyan started the game from the bench and he was introduced late in the game after he replaced Rick Karsdorp in the 83rd minute.

Mourinho recalls Afena-Gyan
Mourinho recalled Felix Afena-Gyan to the squad ahead of their tough fixture against Atalanta.
The Giallorossi hosted Atalanta on Saturday evening as they aim to continue their winning ways after they recorded a 1-0 hard-fought win at Spezia - their first victory in five games.
Reports circulated that Afena-Gyan was demoted to AS Roma’s Primavera (U-19 team) by the Portuguese gaffer after he reportedly went nightclubbing last weekend after their away Serie A fixture.
Ghanaians React After Mourinho Cracks Whip on Afena-Gyan
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian teen sensation, Felix Afena-Gyan has been downgraded from the first team of Serie A club AS Roma, reports Italian tabloid Gazzetta.
The 19-year-old striker received the demotion to the Primavera (youth side of AS Roma) as punishment for returning from a discotheque in the wee hours of the morning.
Afena-Gyan was excluded from Roma's matchday squad against Spezia due to discomfort in his hip but was spotted returning to the club's boarding facility at dawn, which led to his punishment.
