High-flying Leicester City attacker Ademola Lookman is raring to go for Nigeria on the back of his debut call-up.

Lookman represented England at the youth level, playing a crucial role as the European nation went on to clinch the FIFA U20 World Cup, but opted to change his national team allegiance at the senior level.

On the back of his first invitation to the Super Eagles, the 24-year-old forward expressed his eagerness to don the Green and White jersey of Nigeria.

He took to Twitter to express his excitement and readiness to help Nigeria secure a World Cup slot at the expense of their West African neighbours.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles handler Augustine Eguavoen has named a 32-man squad to prosecute the crucial final round world cup qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana.

Ghana host Nigeria at the Cape Coast Stadium on March 25 and then the reverse fixture is slated for March 29 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

Ademola Lookman who recently switched his nationality from England to Nigeria has earned his first-ever call-up to play for the Nigeria senior team.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Leicester City forward Ademola Lookman is set to play his first game for Nigeria against Ghana in the FIFA World Cup playoffs later this month.

The 24-year old was invited by head coach Augustine Eguavoen after his application to switch nationality from England to Nigeria was approved by the world’s football governing body, FIFA.

Lookman has now been included in Nigeria's 30-man roster when they renew their rivalry with the Black Stars in a two-legged clash on March 25 in Cape Coast before travelling to Abuja for the return leg four days later.
