Emmanuel Dennis is back to the Super Eagles squad after being named on Nigeria's 30-man roster to take on Ghana in the FIFA World Cup playoffs.
The Watford striker had missed out on the Africa Cup of Nations for Nigeria despite being named in the Super Eagles squad for the tournament.
According to a report via Soccernet, Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick in a recent trip to the UK had seen and spoken to Dennis to have which might have led to the striker's recall.
The 24-year-old forward has been on the bad books of former Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, who had snubbed the striker on many occasions.
Dennis will now join a terrifying strike force for the Super Eagles that includes Napoli frontman, Victor Osimhen alongside Kelechi Iheanacho and Odion Ighalo.
Lookman gets maiden Super Eagles call-up
Meanwhile, Leicester City winger, Ademola Lookman has been called to the Super Eagles squad for the first time as the winger was listed in Nigeria's 30-man list to tackle Ghana.
According to the Vanguard, Lookman got the green light from the world football governing body, FIFA, to represent Nigeria in football competitions switching nationality from England.
The 24-year-old joins the likes of Ola Aina, Alex Iwobi, William Troost-Ekong to dump England to play for Nigeria.
