English Premier League Club, Everton has confirmed they have ended all sponsorships with every Russian company tied to the Merseyside Club following the country's invasion of Ukraine.
Everton who is heavily backed by Russian billionaire and former Arsenal board member, Alisher Usmanov has been heavily criticized for not renouncing their relationships with their Russian sponsors.
According to a report via Talksport, the Premier League club has now confirmed their partnerships with USM, Megafon and Yota have been suspended with immediate effect.
“Everyone at Everton remains shocked and saddened by the appalling events unfolding in Ukraine.
“The club can confirm that it has suspended with immediate effect all commercial sponsorship arrangements with the Russian companies USM, Megafon, and Yota.”
All companies are believed to be owned by the Usmanov who is said to be a strong ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Meanwhile, Alisher Usmanov's trouble seems to have deepened as Germany has seized the Russian billionaire's $600m super yacht.
According to Caught Offside, the action by Germany is part of ongoing sanctions against Russia following their military invasion of Ukraine.
Usmanov is currently involved with Everton, with his company sponsoring the Toffees training ground, while club owner Farhad Moshiri is also the chairman of his company USM Holdings.
