Moses Simon who is a Super Eagles forward on Wednesday night, 2 March, scored the winning penalty for Nantes as they defeated tough rivals Monaco 4-2 on penalties to reach the French Cup final for the first time in 22 years.

The semifinal game for Nantes against Monaco was not an easy one, but Moses Simon and his teammates fought hard to reach the final and will now be eyeing the title.

Before the encounter was settled via penalties, regulation time ended 2-2 and Nantes went on to win.

Who are the goal scorers for Monaco and Nantes?

Guillermo Maripan gave Monaco the lead in the 12th minute, and it was Djibril Sidibe who scored an own goal in the 21st minute to give Nantes the equalizer.

According to the report on Complete Sports and Pulse, Samuel Moutoussamy scored the second goal for Nantes in the 74th minute before Myron Boadu restored parity for Monaco two minutes later as it ended 2-2 after 90 minutes.

Peter Olayinka who can play anywhere across the attack has scored seven goals and has three assists in 27 official matches for Slavia Prague this season.
