Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi is shocked by the reception he received while in Ghana last summer for vacation.
The England international spent almost a month in the West African country and took the opportunity to meet Ghana's President Nana Akufo-Addo.
However, it was his attendance to the Accra Sports stadium to watch Hearts of Oak play rivals Great Olympics that gave him the craziest experience.
"The craziest experience I’ve ever been to is watching a match there. I went to the stadium, Hearts of Oak. I literally couldn’t get in it was so packed with fans trying to get inside any way possible," he told Daily Mail.
"Because it was my first time coming back in a while, everyone was looking for me and crazy for me. My dad used to play there and it’s nice to see and experience where he used to play. But at the same with me I’m just dying, everyone was just crowding me!," he added.
The 21-year-old was given a gracious welcome by fans of the club because his father, Bismarck Odoi, played for Hearts of Oak in the late 70's and early 80's.
