Ghanaian teen sensation, Felix Afena-Gyan has been downgraded from the first team of Serie A club AS Roma, reports Italian tabloid Gazzetta.
The 19-year-old striker received the demotion to the Primavera (youth side of AS Roma) as punishment for returning from a discotheque in the wee hours of the morning.
Afena-Gyan was excluded from Roma's matchday squad against Spezia due to discomfort in his hip but was spotted returning to the club's boarding facility at dawn, which led to his punishment.

Bar his recent 'recalcitrance' the Ghana international held a close relationship with the former Chelsea manager.
Afena-Gyan is deemed as Mourinho's protégé after the Portuguese tactician handed him his debut against Genoa - where he became the first player born after 2003 to score a brace in Serie A.
Mourinho's fondness for the Ghanaian was demonstrated when he purchased the Balenciaga shoes he wanted so much after the double at Genoa. Mourinho also spent New Year's Eve with him.

FootballEarlier, Sports Brief reported that AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho has been angered by Felix-Afena-Gyan after the Ghanaian youngster reportedly went nightclubbing on Saturday in Italy.
A report by Football Italia says Mourinho was so upset by the 19-year-old antics that he decided to drop him from AS Roma's first team.
For his punishment, Mourinho has demoted Afena-Gyan to the Primavera team and he will now be training with Roma's junior team for the next few weeks.
