Nigeria-eligible star Joshua Zirkzee who is currently on loan at Belgian outfit Anderlecht from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich is wanted in England, Brila FM reports.
Premier League club West Ham United are interested in the youngster who is under contract with the German outfit until 2023.
Reports have it that the 20-year-old is valued at t €10-12m – a very affordable fee for the Hammers who are looking to strengthen their team.
At the moment, West Ham only have a striker in Michail Antonio and the club manager David Moyes is looking to strengthen the squad’s attack ahead of next season.
Zirkzee is yet to sign a contract extension with Bayern Munich and has been identified as the ideal target for West Ham United, even though Bayern are reportedly prepared to tie him down with a new deal.
He is having a good season with the Belgian club having scored 14 goals and delivered 8 assists in all competitions.
Zirkzee is born in the Netherlands to a Dutch father and a Nigerian mother. He is a Dutch youth international, but still eligible for the Super Eagles.
Man Utd want Osimhen as Ronaldo’s replacement
Meanwhile, Napoli star Victor Osimhen has reportedly emerged as Man United's top transfer target to replace the ageing Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo has been struggling for form since the turn of the new year, with the Portuguese scoring only once.
The Red Devils are now said to have laid an elaborate plan to find a replacement for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

FootballIt is understood the Manchester club will have to fork out as much as €100m to stand any chance of securing the services of the 22-year-old.
On the other hand, Napoli are reportedly keeping tabs on Sassuolo‘s Gianluca Scamacca to replace Osimhen should the Nigerian international depart this summer.
Newcastle United lead race to sign Osimhen
Sports Brief earlier reported that English Premier League side Newcastle United are now leading the race to sign Nigerian international Victor Osimhen who has been impressive for Napoli.
The Super Eagles' forward joined the Italian outfit from French club Lille back in September 2020 and has been a key member under Luciano Spalletti.
Osimhen has found the back of the net 21 times in 51 appearances for the Partenopei in all competitions which have attracted interest from other clubs.
