Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has been shortlisted for Arsenal Player of the month for February 2022 following his outstanding performance for the club.

The 28-year-old played an influential role for the Gunners as they amassed crucial points in the Premier League in the month under review.

Partey is competing against teammates Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel dos Santos Magalhães with the winner selected by Arsenal fans through voting.

How did Partey fair in February

The box-to-box midfield enforcer featured in Arsenal's games against Brentford, claiming a sensational assist for Bukayo Saka, and also impressed against Wolves both at the Emirates Stadium and Molineux Stadium.

Partey made the most ball recoveries, won the most duels, made the most take-ons as well as won the most fouls in an impressive showing against Wolves, according to data and statistics company, Squawka.

Football Fans Rave About Flawless Partey

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that followers of the beautiful game on social media have poured out their love for Thomas Partey in Arsenal's outstanding league game against Wolves.

Although the Ghana international was not crowned the man-of-the-match, he put up a monstrous display in midfield for the Gunners as they chase top-four positions.
