Leeds United have officially announced the sacking of their manager Marcelo Bielsa following the club's embarrassing home defeat against Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday, 26 February.
This latest development brings an end to Marcelo Bielsa's four-year stint with Leeds United and would be remembered for promoting the club back to the Premier League.
But following their promotion back to the English topflight, things have not been rosy for Leeds United and there are concerns for the club not to relegate this term.
Leeds United chiefs were not happy with their defeat against Tottenham and they felt that another manager should come in and continue the job.
According to the official statement made by Leeds United, the club's chairman Andrea Radrizzani explained that the decision to fire Bielsa was a tough one.

''This has been the toughest decision I have had to make during my tenure at Leeds United, taking into account all the success Marcelo has had at the club.
“With Marcelo as our head coach, we had three incredible campaigns and the good times returned to Elland Road. He changed the culture of the club and brought a winning mentality to us all.''
