Chelsea are scheduled to face Premier League rivals, Liverpool, in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday afternoon, February 27, at Wembley Stadium.
The Blues stunned London rivals Tottenham Hotspur over two legs to reach the final of the tournament, with Liverpool in Liverpool overcoming Arsenal to set up a date with the west Londoners.
The Sunday final represents the best chance for Thomas Tuchel to win his first domestic trophy as Chelsea boss, having lifted the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup this season.
Match preview
With the EPL title slipping further away from Tuchel's side, a domestic and continental treble is still on the cards.
The Blues are currently on a six-game winning run across all tournaments, setting them up perfectly for the Wembley showdown.
Meanwhile, despite Jurgen Klopp's otherwise successful spell as Liverpool boss, he is yet to lead the Reds to Carabao Cup glory.
Liverpool's success in the competition in the formative years has not been reflected in recent seasons, with their last triumph in the tournament coming back in 2011.
However, having already won the League Cup eight times (on level with Man City) now have a chance of winning their ninth.
Team news
Chelsea already have a major injury boost in Mason Mount who was able to make the bench against Lille in the Champions League.
Tuchel will further be hoping the duo of Mateo Kovacic and Hakim Ziyech will shake off their injury concerns and make the match-day squad.
