Nigerian international Moses Simon put up a sensational performance when Nantes defeated Paris Saint-Germain in the French Ligue 1 last weekend.
Moses had a great game in the encounter, especially in the first half, as he created a goal and also had one shot on target, creating three chances.
Messi, however, failed to make an impact in the encounter as PSG lost the tie 3-1, but Simon who also took on Messi one-on-one during the game, expressed delight to have played against the Argentine superstar.
Recounting the experience of playing against the Argentina Captain for the first time, Simon told CKD Media as per Brila FM:
“Messi is the greatest player I have ever played against. He is phenomenal with the ball. He actually gave a good account of himself in the match against my team. After the match, I exchanged jersey with him and we had a chat about the game.
“We utilized the chances we had in the first half, and special thanks must go to our goalkeeper, Alban Lafont who was simply at his best in the game.”
