Football activities in Ukraine have been suspended for a minimum of 30 days following the attack launched by Russia which has caused serious unrest and big tension for the past few days.
There are serious tensions currently in Ukraine following the decision of Russia president Vladimir Putin who ordered his troops to attack the neighboring country.
Vladimir Putin has also warned other nations in the world not to interfere in his country's war against Ukraine claiming that there will be serious consequence for any country that do so.
For this reason, those in charge of football in Ukraine and also the government decided to put all football activities on hold so as to avoid any trouble.
According to the report on Premium Times and Daily Post, the suspension also affects the country's topflight League which was supposed to restart on Friday, 25 December.
